Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This policy explains what personal data Postonero collects, when and why it is collected, and how it is used. We keep it simple because we collect very little.

Who we are

Postonero is a restaurant reservation service operated by James and the Site (jamesandthesite.com). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at james@jamesandthesite.com.

What data we collect and when

We collect personal data in two circumstances:

1. Contact enquiries

When you submit the enquiry form on our website, we collect:

This data is submitted voluntarily by you. By sending the form, you consent to us storing and using your details to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about Postonero.

2. Demo confirmation email

If you use the live demo booking widget on our homepage and complete a test booking, you may receive a sample confirmation email at the address you provide. By entering your details and completing the demo booking, you consent to receiving that email.

Demo bookings are not stored beyond what is needed to send the confirmation. We do not use demo email addresses for marketing.

How we use your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry form submissions are retained for as long as needed to manage your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. If you would like your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Third-party services

Our website is hosted on Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Netlify's privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy. No other third-party services have access to the data you submit through our website forms.

Postonero itself uses Supabase (database) and Resend (transactional email) to power the reservation system for restaurant clients. Data collected through a restaurant's booking widget is governed by that restaurant's own privacy policy — Postonero processes it as a data processor on their behalf.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. No cookies are set for advertising purposes. The only session state used is limited to technical functionality within the staff dashboard.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email james@jamesandthesite.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
